TKAT Teaching School Alliance


This programme covers a range of teaching and learning areas designed specifically for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs). These sessions also provide valuable support and networking opportunities.

The Joint Practice Development Component of this programme provides training and support for individual Academies or groups of Academies to work with NQTs between sessions.

• Planning for progress: Meeting learner needs

• Challenge expectations and SEND

• Making use of assessment and feedback

• Metacognition and self-regulation
