Kelly is one of our regional TSA Leads and covers the following schools:
I have been teaching for ten years at Drapers Mills Primary School. As a teacher I have taught from year 1-6 and due to the profile of our school cohort, I have had lots of experience teaching vulnerable pupils. The school has a larger than average percentage of EAL, SEN and PP premium children so I have learned many strategies to support the emotional, social and educational development of those pupils. I have been lucky enough to have been a part of the schools amazing transition from special measures to good and along that journey I began on my leadership path. Firstly, I became a year group leader and then moving onto phase leader leader and joined the SLT team. I have had experience as a KS1 moderator.
I joined the TSA in 2017 as TSA lead for the east and as a part of this exciting phase, have enjoyed facilitating training and supporting both schools and teachers on an individual basis.
Kim is one of our regional TSA Leads and covers the following schools:
I have been in education for as long as I can remember, working in both the primary and secondary phases and have been a Head Teacher of both secondary and primary schools. I enjoy and have a passion for working with and building teams of staff that can provide the very best outcomes for our students.
My work although takes me away from direct teaching of learners my motivation and passion is to now support and equipping others, embedding skills, through high quality profession development to strive for and instil in them and their students a passion for life long learning.
My professional experience is vast I have led CPD and modelled for other leader’s programmes that have impacted on the standard of teaching in their schools, facilitating teaching programmes, Middle leadership programmes and coaching at all levels of leadership.
Fundamentally the key must be to provide an approach that motivates, inspires, supports, develops and increases the capacity of an individual and a whole school in a sustainable outcome and ultimately raise educational standards of all our schools
My personal interests are: Finding the ways to give teaches the strategies to engage them and their students to enjoy learning. Spending time in my home with my family and friends and walking my dogs. Plus I love to laugh.
